Yoga Sunday Series: Meditation
Yoga Sunday Series: Meditation
Happy Yoga Sunday! In our first post in this series it only makes sense that we talk about the most important part of yoga – meditation! 4 of the 8 Limbs of Yoga relate to meditation but these days many of us get too focused on the physical Asana practice. There are so many different ways to meditate so you can find something that works for you!
I know I (Carrie) need to spend some more time meditating these days. I’m struggling hard with acceptance of where I am, comparing my success against others, and in holding on to anger about the past. Not fun. I’m acknowledging these feelings in order to process them and let them go, but I’ll also be meditating on gratitude and joy in order to bring more of those qualities into my current attitude!

If you love yoga, pranayama, and Ayurveda, check out my online, on-demand yoga classes for all levels. I aim to include something for everyone in the class library. You’ll find some challenging flows, some trauma-informed classes, and some quick breath or meditation breaks for when you just need a moment. Most class videos will take place out in nature, my favorite place to be. I’m launching the online class library with six different classes of a variety of lengths and difficulty levels. Please let me know which ones you enjoy the most and if you have any requests for types of classes, poses, meditations, or anything! Subscribers will receive access to the complete library at all times, plus at least 1 new class uploaded every week (as time and Wifi allows; thank you in advance for giving me grace in case of glitches).
