EDIT 2024 by Zach – Wow, Instagram didn’t even exist yet. We were so far ahead of the times! Maybe not, it’s hard to say. What I do know is that we were doing this travel blog thing right at the start, we just didn’t know what we were doing. We could have been famous! That’s ok, being famous is probably kinda annoying.

We kept La Aventura Project going til about 2018 when we changed it to Bigger Life Adventures. LAP took us to more than 30 countries in all. We’ve traveled more by now than I though I could do in an entire lifetime. It really makes me grateful, although I should express it more. I know so many people want what we have and we try to explain that it is accessible to almost everyone. You just have to know how to work the system, as travel doesn’t have to break that bank. There are so many travel hacks out there now, you just have to know where to look or have a good friend to guide you.
